It's been amazing to talk to parents, kids, educators, and adult students over the last couple of weeks. I feel very privileged to have heard a diverse group of people saying "this isn't right," "this is what I'm struggling with" or "I want to help." It's been a tremendous gift
I especially want to thank the parents who brought their kids onto the call or spoke in a very open, loving and honest spirit about their kids who were too young to join or otherwise unavailable. You're the best!

I also owe a huge debt of gratitude to the active teachers and school admin who reached out to me, because even when you're working at a progressive school it requires courage to talk frankly about the local and systemic problems you see. Thanks
