This is bad. It's all just bad. The current crop of teens has been knee deep in internet-is-forever social media from birth & we're now at the cusp of the deepfakes era, with a media too opportunist to avoid snapping at its own tail & too craven to let go once it has bitten down.https://twitter.com/DMRegister/status/1177395530718154752 …

I also think there’s an issue with orgs being too nervous. In Norway we had a controversial MRA facebook group trying to donate 25k to a children’s cancer org, which was promptly returned. As if ordinary people would abandon children with cancer because of social justice concerns
