You're response (whether you change your mind or not) is not the point of direct action that disrupts. The disruption is the point. It is a wrench in the gears...which is not intended to make friends, it is intended to shut something down, to stop something.

That is not to say that direct action that disrupts is always an effective or useful tactic. But, most of the time, there is awareness that direct action does not make friends.
