I was prescribed clonazepam for ~10 weeks during a period of extraordinary stress. It was not easy coming off those meds. I'm sure some folks are thinking "I took klonopin once and I was fine!" It's very different when you're reliant on these meds during a genuine crisis. Docs are hesitant to prescribe and I'm pretty confident Jordan Peterson didn't take the decision lightly. Have compassion.
In hindsight this was inevitable. Even before his wife was ill he was near breaking in many of his appearances. I hope he comes back stronger.
