At least for me, when I think back to the periods of my life where I learned the most in the shortest amount of time, it'z almost shocking how little those situations resemble a traditional classroom setting or atmosphere.

As a random example, It's fairly obvious that Kerbal Space Program teaches orbital mechanics better and faster than any formal curriculum ever designed, and not by a small margin. That should be a huge hint that we're teaching major parts of physics entirely wrong.
