You demonstrate the need for an educated voting class, which is supposed to be what the democracy runs on. So you are emphasizing the importance of abstaining from opinion on issues where you feel you have less than adequate knowledge. Most people don't analyze their boundaries.

I feel like the issue isn't too complicated: there exists the 2nd Amendment, therefore people have the rights to bear arms. Most guns are either lever action or semiautomatic. A ban on assault rifles means a ban on some semiautomatic guns (pull the trigger once to fire).

@JamesonHalpern If you know enough about guns that they shoot a projectile at a high enough velocity to kill someone, you know enough about guns and the 2nd Amendment to make an informed decision. This response by her is a cop out,...
