Creating rules for sexual agency within biological age and levels of intoxication are different from deciding which human persons are ok to kill based on size, level of development, degree of dependency and environment. Apples and oranges.
I think some of the people who've served substantial prison terms, been labeled rapists and wound up on the sex offender registry for life would ask if they've had needed to be assaulted or actually killed in prison for their apple to be an orange

I think a society where drunk drivers can be penalized and kept off the streets, and 15-16 year olds are safer from that super cool artistically absorbed 30-year old manipulator, make those laws worth the times when the spirit succumbs to the letter.
