Note the implied narrative here. Back in the real world, it's perfectly reasonable to have serious qualms with elective abortions long before ~27 weeks, when this woman had her abortion. >90% chance of survival had she delivered on the day. This is not an extremist position.

There is definitely room for criticism however in the cases of women like this who at 28 weeks somehow didn’t know she was pregnant

I wasn't aware that there were *any* doctors in the US that would offer this (27 weeks, accidental pregnancy, no medical need, not a minor). IMO, treating this as a % of total abortions is a misdirection; this should not be categorized anything like an abortion at 10 weeks
