If a carbon tax raised prices for meat, how much of an increase would be costly enough (to you personally or to populations you care about, e.g. lower income families) that you would be uncomfortable supporting it?

I tentatively think this would be the only sensible way to do it, contingent on administrative costs being kept within reason. I do think knock-on effects, both positive and negative, are hard to anticipate; the economics of living further from ports & food production would swing
