you don't want to reinstate a cultural mode where the first response to women is to inform them how to try harder to adapt to less freedom. The advice should be given, but quietly and appropriately.
Do you live in a neighborhood that's dangerous at night? I do. And I'm adapting to it, as I've been encouraged to do and encourage others to do. How quietly should I whisper?
