If you care about children, become a teacher — not a parent. If you care about ideas, join a book club — not a think tank. If you want to make life better for people, become a doctor — not an entrepreneur. All must be socially regulated. All gates must be kept

I have to admit that I’m kind of confused by this tweet. Is this sarcastic or serious? Are you saying it’s bad that people want to become teachers and doctors instead of parents and entrepreneurs? Or the other way around?

Okay... maybe you just meant that we shouldn’t be forcing people into certain paths? Though I still don’t understand what these decisions have to do with a culture of hedonism. Medicine and entrepreneurship are both good career choices!
