I have to admit that I’m kind of confused by this tweet. Is this sarcastic or serious? Are you saying it’s bad that people want to become teachers and doctors instead of parents and entrepreneurs? Or the other way around?

Okay... maybe you just meant that we shouldn’t be forcing people into certain paths? Though I still don’t understand what these decisions have to do with a culture of hedonism. Medicine and entrepreneurship are both good career choices!

I think the distance between our starting positions are too wide for a 280-character format, especially if you've lived the sort of life wherein you and everyone close to you would have been broadly supported in any of these pursuits.
