If you don't want to be perceived as a woman, I feel like step one would be not trying to date people who are openly and explicitly interested only in women

Except I think the non binary ppl argue their gender exists independently of their sexuality. Think about this: 00 - no gender (non binary) 01 - female 10 - male 11- dual gender (fluid) 00 - no sexuality 01 - androphilic 10 - gynophilic 11- bisexual 00,10 Non Binary Lesbian

Except lesbian is two women. That contradicts what non-binary is, therefore the two are at odds and cannot be true.

The point that’s being made is there’s a difference between sex (binary: M & F), gender (fluid), and sexual orientation. Their gender is non-binary, their sex is female, their orientation is lesbian. The confusion is whether orientation is derived from one’s gender OR one’s sex

"Lesbian" is very clearly and broadly understood as "a woman who is attracted to women." If you're not a woman, it's silly to complain if others refuse to refer to you as a lesbian, whether you're a man, non-binary, or any other sort of person who is not a woman.
