I want to address unfounded speculation about @MrAndyNgo's departure from @Quillette: Andy has been off work for @Quillette since July, after sustaining a traumatic brain injury. He is now moving onto bigger & better projects, & we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

There were no unfounded claims, there was speculation because you quietly deleted him from the site without saying anything after he was caught hanging with gang members as they plotted a felonious assault

One might suspect that if anyone were protecting Andy Ngo, he wouldn't have sustained a serious brain injury, alone, on tape, over the course of an altercation lasting many minutes.pic.twitter.com/zZf1CU7FXY

And given the tremendous amount of footage from these events from activists of all persuasions and local journalists + Andy's relative notoriety, it'd be *extremely* surprising to not capture Andy "hanging with" PP if he were actually doing that, no?
