There's an investigative podcast — called "Room 20" — about a man, presumed to be in a vegetative state, unidentified & kept on life support for 15 years. The bulk of the series focuses on other issues, but I'm left horrified by one simple fact:

I wonder if there as a way for individuals to appeals when they see a situation that is mandated by law but is obviously a cause of vast unnecessary suffering... This and many situations like it are really bothering me... because they seems so... unnecessary...
