The final
in a long series of undeservedly fortunate events that landed me in this chapel is that when they wired the whole place up, they never created a separate meter for the chapel vs. the rest of the building, which includes a bunch of hallways, laundry, etc. - 2 more replies

Soup Kitchen? Homeless shelter with counseling and advice available?

I'm verrrry not equipped to do that safely. I've been thinking about keeping ready-made meals to give to anyone who comes to the front step, though. I do need to check with a lawyer first; CA is weird about liability & I'm not sure what'd happen if someone complained or got sick

I did something like this at an old place of mine and it was awesome. dinner parties, game nights, professional events. outfitted with cinema sound, projector and huge screen. we made multiple movies out of that space!
