Most people don't understand they wouldn't even exist without the industrial and economic drivers of climate change.
I just don't know how people come to believe the major components of our economic system can be decoupled If I imagine a world in which corporations are actually doing everything they can to mitigate climate change, beef is like $25/lb & air conditioning, anywhere, is a rarity

I guess this is the problem of a highly advanced economy with incredibly long supply chains. People can't envision the tonnes of coal that have to be burned to keep the lights on.
