Same. I will probably never forget setting up a free 50megs site or when I made a way for my friends to get around school blocks on browser games.
This is a lot like how I felt about it. Unlike a lot of children now, I had large swaths of time to spend outdoors unsupervised, but even so most of my activities were overseen by adults.
