I'm very happy to say that the streets would be safer if everyone were trained to recognize and react optimally to potential threats. But it's a dick move to criticize someone for lacking training when they're attacked, or even for reacting emotionally *after* training.
I assume that if your girlfriend were attacked like this — grabbed, thrust to the floor, dragged back by the man attacking her — that you would not call her "idiotic" if she didn't react according to the training you so graciously bestowed on her.
That would depend on if I were present or not. If I was present, I wouldn't call her idiotic. That's because she's my GF. Like I said before, at the point where the female is in anyway antagonizing a violent male, it's up to her BF or police to intervene on her behalf.
