To all appearances, the problem Portland Antifa solved is that they didn't have *enough* far-right political hobbiests. Their brilliant and nuanced strategy of throwing stuff + punching people seems to have ensured that a constant supply will be bused in for them

If the fascist police are actually getting more effective with their devious plans to force everyone in Portland to keep their hands to themselves, I worry that without enough Nazis to go around, the slower, littler Antifa aren't getting a chance to bravely assault anyone

While I'm hesitant to say that this is the *best* use of law enforcement resources, I'm not sure leading these people in circles around the city on a nice day is the *worst* thing. To be frank, most of them look like they could use the exercise

If Portland just regularly paid a distance runner to put on a MAGA hat and run figure-eights through scenic parts of town, it might well be one of the most cost-effective public health initiatives of all time
