One day we'll recognize the power of children & young adults to generate. It's a real power that we affirm only for those deemed "gifted," a status we confer not necessarily to empower but also to limit — to "safe" tracks. Not just bc we're afraid *for,* but bc we're afraid *of.*

Yes definitely! I can see it in trying to learn to speak even (maybe reverse engineering but still). Do you know of good toys/resources to help? I have some nieces in mind at the moment but also my own kids down the line.
