The only way to do it is to do it, IMO. Start with a blog or Medium feed, and just dive in. The worst part about this strategy is that you have to read the comments, but you learn a lot.

@Quillette into publishing some of your work, in which case you'd (I'm assuming) get the benefit of an editor, which helps a lot with learning. - 2 more replies
