Not just annual. If you go to the "start a dispute" section, you can get a copy as part of the process. Also, I believe you're entitled to a free report if you've recently been denied credit.

This is actually a lot harder and more time-consuming than it looks, as I know personally from dealing with identity theft last year. I had to spend >15 hours scouring my own records for various proof that I had grounds to file an ID theft report + a police report
