That seems like a justifiable overhead. A little bit of work can help with not spreading bad ideas. Especially if the person has a large platform.
The point is that sometimes bad actors have *good ideas,* aaaaand the extent to which they're broadly not known as bad actors (and thus retweeted) is probably at least a weak proxy for the extent to which they may be unfairly maligned
In general I think we should probably decouple ideas from the people who say them at least a little more than the current norm suggests, to avoid ideas in general becoming weird tribal properties
