Listening to the (very enjoyable) @farnamstreet interview on @SamHarrisOrg's podcast has me thinking about the crazy overhead we implicitly put on people when we expect them to not retweet/link to bad actors & feel justified in piling on when they do, even inadvertently
Further complicated by the fact that even *I* have been accused of being a "fascist" or a "fascist sympathizer," and if someone outside of my particular political bubble retweets one of my stupid dating jokes I don't think they should have to get embroiled in that silliness
