I think this is a common misreading of at least the core IDW, who very sincerely believe that we are not capable of doing a true, effective, good-faith search of solution space for problems like climate change & inequality under the conditions created & maintained by SJW culture https://twitter.com/ne0liberal/status/1149379249675087875 …
It's not even that. They're not climate scientists. The point is that climate scientists need to be able to speak freely. They're doing what they believe to be what they are positioned to do toward that end. I have no idea why people miss this

I think people don't find it credible that the character of debates that are inherently deeply linked to identity are at all connected to the character of debates only connected to identity via accidental affiliation.

It just seems like a boil-the-oceans strategy. "I'd like people to yell less about important civilizational things, so to do that, I'm going to try to get them to yell less about the things they are most emotional about that have the least consequence."

Is there a single solitary example of a climate scientist who was unable to say what they needed to due to restrictions imposed by SJWs? The issue with line of argument is that it’s so far from reality it’s hard to take seriously.

The idea that SJW culture could lead to an environment in which scientists aren’t able to solve these problems is an extreme slippery slope argument. It’s a worst case hypothetical. Is it reasonable to prioritize a hypothetical over the very real problems facing society?
