It's genuinely amazing how many people who tell me that you can't choose to be happy will shortly thereafter, in some awkward arrangement of words, essentially tell me that they have chosen to be *unhappy*

We've managed to get to a spot on the map where we worry about e.g. rudimentary machines replacing human workers who, statistically, have levels of despair you might expect for a person who knows what they do could be done by a rudimentary machine. But we don't have to stay here

I don't think it's anti-capitalist. As we improve technology, though, we should agree on the goal of maximizing individual freedom (and creativity) by further limiting collective rule and gradually reducing the size of govt (future-crime policy, equality of outcome, bureaucracy).
