I was out in the middle of Wyoming a week ago, in some of the most beautiful land in the country, and the 11-14 yr olds were obsessed with making "edits", posting them on Instagram, and making money directly from insta or patreon.

One of them claimed to have made over $1000 for his collection of "edits". I asked what an edit was, and they showed me (proudly) some hodge podge video clip with random animations and text. I felt like a grackle had just offered me a shiny bottle cap.
