Why do sharks basically never eat people after giving them a test bite?

Because they mistake humans for seals. That’s why it’s often surfers getting attacked, look like seals from below. Sharks don’t like the taste of humans. I’m surprised the survey is 50/50 I thought this was common knowledge

Compared to seals we're pretty bony and lacking in delicious fat. Maybe sharks are more likely to finish the meal when the victim is obese
