There’s an understanding of “game” by which *all* conflicts, from a couple’s mild arguments to world wars, are games. If there are incentives, a set of available moves, and actors to make them, you have a game. These can include *actual* violence.

I would argue 'they' see it as a game. REAL Nazis (depressing I have to make that clear) used to play games with Jews amongst their soldier friends that would be considered war crimes now. Yet in their own compartmentalized minds they were still games.

I mean this seriously: have Antifa engaged anyone in debate? Their key premise is that the world is infected with fascists, that these people are extremely dangerous & they can identify them. This is generally held as self-evident, and only a fascist would deny it.
