I'm confused by the complaint here? Both accounts seem to agree on the central point of him being attacked by counterprotestors. Am I missing something?

If the names were redacted, I would not think the same event was being described and I'm not sure how anyone would, but I suppose in all things YMMV

pfft! journalists use facts for plots all the time. first lesson of journalism: tell a story. no story, no reporting. life is not a story nor is there a plot. the great failing of journalists: they cannot convey the importance of many facts absent a story. eg.economics
