She’s not being knocked for being a bartender. She’s being knocked for pretending she knows more than others about climate, taxation etc when her experience and knowledge was confined to bartending. Like a brain surgeon telling Curry how to shoot 3-pointers.
Knock her for that. If you haven't seen attacks on her specifically for having been a bartender. you've really not surveyed the landscape. Her ideas often lack the depth to even constitute coherent policy, but that's not because she's the wrong fucking caste

If it was a caste thing, there would be a culture-wide ridicule or contempt of bartenders. And there isn’t. So it’s her, and her ridiculous demands that the world change.

It is a caste thing. No one can prove it to you unless the next time some other bartender gets elected & gains popularity (rightly or wrongly) for her ideas. It is easy to dismiss the disliking these people have for AOC as being more for her ideas than for who she is till then
