all im gonna say about the andy ngo stuff is if you have enough money to donate to his gofundme, you have enough money to donate to the literal dozens of gofundme‘s I see on my tl for people who are homeless, disabled, or abused, and your use of that money is very telling

what are you talking about, I have friends, right now, who are running gofundme’s because their partners, siblings, or friends can’t afford rent or food. this isn’t a hypothetical life, these are real people in real, serious, ongoing trouble.
Truly, the important thing is that you've got a carefully rank-ordered hierarchy of human injustices and a twitter account with which to berate other people for their decisions about whom to help.
