Some folks don’t graduate are like to take 8 years to get a 4 year degree.
A LOT of folks don't graduate. <40% graduate in 4 years. They got the same messaging from elementary/middle school as everyone else — that college is a sure thing; the only smart choice. Writing them off is cruel.

Then what that requires is a cultural shift in understanding what college is and who should be going there. But if you want me to believe that a 20 year old getting a BA in computer engineering is some downtrodden class in the US, I’m not buying it.
