I used to think that the order of priorities to be healthy in life was: 1) exercise, 2) eating well, 3) getting enough sleep. Increasingly convinced I’ve had it backwards.

I recently pulled an all-nighter after about a week of near-perfect sleep, and found myself literally sobbing in my car by midday. I'd been having a pretty cheerful week overall and *nothing* had occurred to change my circumstances at all!

I've been sleeping for 3-4 hours (insomnia maybe but also university work) every night for about a year and I've started to physically look sick to people. Gotta figure out how to get 7-8 hours of a goodnights sleep again.

Going to sleep at 10-1030 on a weeknight before work I've seen makes a massive difference, even if you wake up earlier than if you went to bed later

A few years ago I did this mad experiment where I went to bed 12 hours before I had to wake up, and eliminated all alarms. Took a couple weeks to kick in, and then I turned into Bradley Cooper's character from Limitless. Seriously hard to maintain that schedule though.
