Totally get your point... but do you get theirs? Woman whose unplanned pregnancies go to term due to lack of access to abortion are educationally and economically disadvantaged. I believe this is the main point they're trying to make.
That's not really a point they make, and it's not a point they *can* press on, because "our employees cannot afford to have children while they're working for us" is, again, a terrible look.
Take a look at the open letter again (I did to help me see what you see). They're taking about gender equality and the desire to hire a diverse workforce. (Restricting abortions will hit the poor and non-white harder than the white wealthy.)
Okay, but ask yourself: why does a company need abortion access in order to hire a diverse workforce? First ask yourself that question from your own perspective, and then ask it from the perspective of someone with the opposing worldview.
