Bruising starting to show. I don't know how to best solve this, but it's not OK for people to attack others on the street. l live in an area with a large homeless population and most of these people are actually pretty good neighbors. People like this create unnecessary conflict

Is it possible that it might’ve been unintentional? I have heard cases of people with Tourette’s that forces their body to make forceful movements at random. This includes bruising themselves from it.

Reeeally unlikely. She moved toward me to get within striking distance, flung her hand back, shouted something brief (I didn't make it out because I had earbuds in and was listening to a podcast) as she struck me, then kept walking and AFAIK never looked back.

That's infuriating. I say we need more cameras & more efficient, far cheaper civil courts so people can be held accountable when BS like that happens.
