I've decided I'm going to block people who attempt to reply to/make contact with people who've blocked them. I find this behavior really unsettling and I think it defects against precisely the wrong norms.

But...How will you know which people are attempting to contact people who have blocked them?
Usually can't, but sometimes people think they're being really clever and draw attention to it themselves.

In that case, I vow to block anyone who doesn't block someone who's attempting to contact another someone who blocked them.
