Blocking can be mean mason two wrongs don’t make a right

Lots of people block folks for reasons that seem silly, self-destructive, etc., but IMO they're not "wronging" anybody. There are some edge cases, e.g. when someone blocks an individual + their allies in order to slander them without refutation, but those are easy to identify

This happens, but it's not been the case most of the time I've seen attempts to make contact or disrupt a feed. Indeed, often the blocked is lobbing accusations at the blocker; it's clear to everyone aside from them who the victim is.https://twitter.com/webdevMason/status/1137530687362174976 …

The Blockalpyse. I am not sure I follow. You mean if Person A blocked B, and B tries to contact A, you will block B?

I was block by someone whom I shouldn’t have been blocked by (I am confident my assessment is correct) when he was going through a blocking spree on an unpopular tweet of his. I’ve since not been able to contact him to ask that he unblock me. It’s disappointing. He was inspiring.

Though I do agree in 99.9% of all cases, it would be distasteful to try and contact the blocker.

But...How will you know which people are attempting to contact people who have blocked them?
-
Usually can't, but sometimes people think they're being really clever and draw attention to it themselves.
