Every young person should take some sort of Intro to Fascinations course that just throws a bunch of strange artifacts, slippery knickknacks and subtly confusing stories at them until they find one they want to hunt for a while

Sure, but it's also a goldmine for thoughtless dopamine rushes. All kids should have a have an internet knickknack guide to show them its breadth.
