With public health and health on a grand scale, you as an individual might be able to be in that 0.5 range, but overall it’s a bad method ~83%, and your chart says that it’s worse than pulling out for the general public

We're talking about individuals, here, no? When I was on the pill, my doctor didn't ask me about *any* of the personal/lifestyle factors that might make it a poor fit. As it happened, I was working completely random shifts at a 24/7 restaurant and frequently took the pill late.

The fundamental weakness of both fertility tracking & withdrawal is that they require significant willpower during periods where... welp, some may find willpower to be in very short supply. :) I would not recommend either for teenagers or anyone prone to impulsivity.

This is not my argument, it’s that the website linked was very biased and gives bad information....along with two poor options as their first listed birth control methods...plus read through that website and tell me that it doesn’t just spew lies

Medical providers should never just place some one on a pill with out discussing side effects and alternative options, if they do advocate for yourself and ask questions....
