Has anyone ever pointed out to hardcore 3rd wave feminist that most of the basis of their beliefs use male typical traits as the gold standard? Masculinity is the gold standard of their philosophy.

The long-running panning of motherhood particularly bothers me. That, combined with — as far as I can tell — a very unrealistic mainstream expectation of outcomes re: fertility after the mid-30s (and sometimes earlier) is likely leading to a lot of serious heartbreak

People get confused about political stances and real life. I’m a stay-at-home parent and I’m male, so ppl think I’m some kind of hero. My mom did it, after turning down opportunities, and she got a bit of push back because she didn’t pursue a career.
