While I'm just throwing out (awesome) start-up ideas willy-nilly: a card-issuer that permits you to generate single-issue #'s connected to the same account with preset termination dates. Basically, the solution to "Just $10 for your first three months! Then $100/month forever."

Twitch/Patreon/Substack solution is voluntary subscription without paywall. Taste all you want, but pay to get badge that you’re a real fan or get access to scarce interaction w creator. IMO best of both worlds.
