If we bet on a policy as aggressive as Warren's wealth tax, it'd become nearly impossible for ultra-successful entrepreneurs to maintain controlling stakes in their own companies over 1-2 decades. It should not be controversial to say this would be disastrous for the US economy.
Find me a politician who's saying "we need to prevent the AMA from artificially bottlenecking residencies" or "we need to reorganize higher education around student career expectations and implement elements of apprenticeship." Then find me a voting populace who wants to hear it

John McCain’s economic advisor wanted to abolish the tax break that results in employer sponsored health insurance. This a root of many evils in the HC market. But no voters wanted to hear about it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sounds like Andrew Yang's sort of thinking as you can see from his current policies (http://yang2020.com ), and his population is growing bc he knows how to tailor his message to diff populations!
It's fulfilling to see other people recognize the importance of *end results* and not just value pronouncements. 
Too many political figures (and voters) spend most of their time on the latter without having a detailed plan that would lead to a good version of the former.
