Counter to some prominent narratives, population growth has attended an explosion of life- & world-bettering ideas. Life was comparably "nasty, brutish and short" for all but the last ~150 years. I think people who can ensure solid nutrition & educational opportunities for their kids should consider having them. Tech progress is dependent on a lot of people like this existing & having access to each other. Not in favor of compelling reproduction, though
