Will share when I get to my laptop. I don't know that I'd dismiss an effect altogether, but it definitely looks in the realm of "a small handful of suicides are possibly attributable" at most, and I don't think that's the takeaway most folks are getting

I used the Detailed Mortality database from the CDC link in the paper, grouped the results by month, selected all states/genders/etc., selected only 5-14 & 15-24 age groups & selected "Suicide" under Injury Intent and Mechanism. Exported to Google Sheets to generate the charts
