Bummer. Alaska is usually not terrible (which means it’s a top of the line airline these days)
For real, @AlaskaAir, my friend's first visit to the USA after 20 hours of travel was capped with his luggage unaccounted for & later returned in a clear plastic bag, damaged, with his personal belongings spilling out. How do I spin this? Help me out.

... and they broke my zip. At least my stuff is here, but... sigh @AlaskaAir I literally just bought this suitcase for this trip. That was like $150+ & now I gotta get a new suitcase? Sighh. Also @CaterpillarInc why are your suitcase zips like this.

People say that, and maybe there's variability between routes, but I've not been impressed. IMO, they absolutely tanked Virgin. I'm always a bit frustrated when I have to fly a route Southwest/JetBlue can't do; the "discount" airlines somehow seem to care a bit more.

I’ve flown Alaska twice, the first time they didn’t issue a ticket properly (we got through the boarding gate to be told we couldn’t get on), then the second time I flew with them (not my choice) they had us landed, sitting at SF for 2.5 hours. The worst airline in the US.
