What are you especially sensitive to, the way the princess was sensitive to the pea?

Thanks, that’s exactly the kind of thing I wanted to hear from you. The second sentence surprises me... suggests I have a blunted sensitivity to it =/

On the one hand, I definitely do have a heightened sensitivity to children's development as learners! On the other hand, I sorta feel like I've been dropped into The Lottery or The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas, and people are like, "wow, you're unusually passionate about this!"

The worst thing about education might be the standardising process, which requires that children be prevented from developing themselves into who they want to be. It hacks away at their individuality--all for their own benefit, of course.

Rethinking education, creating unique & personalized opportunities for learners — this is close to my heart. I hope to explore this and open a small academy one day soon! Would love to discuss.
