@Jonathan_Blow is right on the money — the rent-seeking (in this case, literal *rent*) is creating an artificial gravity that pins nearly everyone to the ground. It's all on housing. SF can go on like this for a while longer, but my god will the ground be salted in the end - 2 more replies
