Programming: saw a box in the supermarket when I was ~9 years old. "Build your own video games!" Didn't realize it was literally just an IDE and programming language in a box (nor did I know they were called that at the time). Before I knew it I was writing an RPG in "DarkBasic"pic.twitter.com/x8Zu9418dz

Should try to put my hands on the source code, should be in an old hard drive gathering dust at my parents' place. I'm sure it was ridiculously bad code, but that's what got me hooked. I even started working on my game during school by writing code on paper

I went to law school expecting to be a back room contracts guy. I ended up working one summer for this incredible old outer-borough trial attorney, grizzled but warm and full of stories; we went through three trials together, and after that litigation was what I wanted to do.

What do you think draws you most to litigation? Any advice for people at the early stage of their career thinking about it? I'm currently contemplating jumping into litigation myself, but unsure if it's what I want career-wise.
